BABIES!! (small size)
These are Peggy's babies.
Peggy's mate was stomped to death by a horrible man who did not like
them in his garden. Peggy was rescued and Rabbit Haven took
her in to make sure she would be safe. Quite to our surprised,
within a few days she had a litter of 7 beautiful babies. They
were born on April 26th and all are very healthy and full of life.
Peggy was a wonderful mom and is now happy to be on her own looking
for a new boyfriend, NO more babies for her!
The babies are now old enough to
be adopted and all of them have been spayed & neutered. They
are extremely friendly and so far they are all staying together with
no fighting. We would like to adopted them out in pairs of two
or more. They all love each other and spend a lot of time
piled on top of each other napping. BUT put them out in the
dance studio and they go crazy, running around, flying through the
air and just having fun like bunnies should.
There are 7total, 4 with
broken black and white coloring, and 3 with broken calico. They are
happy, healthy and curious about the new world they're in. We
still have not come up with names for them yet, any suggestions?
Adopting a very young rabbit is more of a challenge because of their
zest for life. Young rabbits are energetic, curious and like to
test boundaries - common adolescent traits. Read about baby bunnies
on the web and be sure you're ready to meet the challenge if you are
considering adopting one of these darling youngsters.

Bambi (small size)
Bambi is an extremely sweet,
friendly little mini-rex. She is always looking for affection
and loves to be held. She is about 1 year old and has the
softest fur ever. She would love to find a friend or a very
loving home where she will be the center of attention and be treated
like the little princess she is.
She loves to get out and run
around and do some binkies but will also just snuggle down with you.
She has wonderful big brown eyes and soft coat that you can pet
forever.
We are looking for a very loving
home that will have lots of time to give Bambi. She would also
like to meet a boy bunny so she has someone to snuggle with at
night. If you are looking for a snuggle bun, she is the one
for you.
Please e-mail adoptions@rabbithaven.org
to make an appointment to meet her and feel her soft fur.
She is at our Carnation
facility. |

Blackberry & Elmer (small size)
These two are bonded brothers,
Elmer looks like a lionhead and Blackberry has a lionhead body but
no extra fur on his head. These two boys are looking for a
forever home. They were returned to Rabbit Haven because the
kids had lost interest in them. We do try to make sure we only
adopt to families, not just the kids but sometimes they still get
returned due to no fault of their own.
They are friendly guys and would love to find a family again that will love them
forever this time. They will make a great addition to a loving
family.
Please e-mail adoptions@rabbithaven.org
to make an appointment to meet these two great buns.
These boys are at our Gig Harbor
facility. |

Bobby McGee &
Billie Jo
(small size)
Bobby McGee & Billie Jo were saved
from certain death as they waited on the floor of the Tacoma Humane
Society waiting to be euthanized. These two are Mini
Rexes and our brother & sister, they are the sweetest bunnies you will ever find. They
are very, very bonded to each other and often both will be snuggling in
their box with just their heads out, just SO cute.
They would love to find a family
that is willing to make them feel safe and let them out to play so
they can show you just what wonderful bunnies they are.
Please e-mail adoptions@rabbithaven.org
to make an appointment to meet these two gentle bunnies.

Boingo
(medium size)
Boingo is a very energetic bunny
about 1 1/2 years old. He came to us because the people who
had him said he was being biten by rats and that the rats were
eating all his food. Why they did not protect him, we will
never know. They also told us that when he was a baby, they
came out and saw that his knee had been broken but did not do
anything to help him at all! He has been checked out by our
vet and his leg has healed in this position and to fix it would be
very traumatic to Boingo, he gets around just find with how it is
and doesn't even seem to be aware of any problems. You would
never know when you see him racing around. He will not need
any special care other than keeping an eye on the down side of the
knee to make sure he in not getting any sores on it.
He is just so fun to watch run
around & play, he is just so full of life. He is also lonely
and we would love to find a girlfriend for him. He has spent a
lot of his life alone in an outdoor hutch, pretty much forgotten, so
we are looking for a loving home for him so that he gets the life &
love he deserves.
He would love to find a family
that is willing to make him feel safe and will let him out to play so
that he can show you just what wonderful bunny he is.
Please e-mail adoptions@rabbithaven.org
to make an appointment to meet this fun bun.
