Bunnies Needing Loving & Caring Homes

Carman & Rocky (medium size)

Carman (blonde bunny) & Rocky (white bunny) were part of the Tacoma Abuse Rescue and were babies when they first came to us.  Since their mother's would not take the babies back, they were left on their own with just each other to make it in the world together.

Rocky came to us as one of the smallest babies and had been very beaten up by all the other bunnies.  He had over 5 abscess and we really did not know if he would make it.  Well he did, a real fighter, thus the name Rocky.  He is quite the love and likes to give lots of licks and nose touches.  Carman is a little sweetie and seems to run Rocky around sometimes.

These two are very friendly bunnies and love to play and do LOTS of bunny binkies and dances.

 Please e-mail adoptions@rabbithaven.org
to make an appointment to meet these two wonderful young buns.

This pair is in foster care

Charlie & Chelsea (small size)

Charlie, (a Netherland Dwarf)  was one of our boys rescued from Yelm.  He came to us covered in wounds and very scared.  Since he was the smallest of the bunnies rescued, all the other bunny picked on him.  He is now all healed up and has come to find that he can trust people.

Charlie is now bonded with a sweet little girl,  Chelsea, they will need to be adopted together.

He loves to run around and do bunny binkies, he is just a happy guy now especially since he has a new girlfriend.

If you would like to meet this wonderful little guy, please e-mail adoptions@rabbithaven.org to make an appointment.

Charlie is at our Gig Harbor facility.

Cloudio & Lizzy    (Large size)

Lizzie & Cloudio were failed by humans in the past -- both were dumped in the wild to live or die -- but remarkably they have emerged from those experiences to be loving and very friendly.

Lizzie is a Californian, white with the characteristic dark nose and ears, and ruby eyes.  She was turned loose on the streets with her little ones.  The babies did not make it and she just about starved to death herself.  Her story was in our last newsletter.  She is now in Heaven, bonded up with our big guy who just loves her so much.  They love to cuddle together and make each other feel safe.

She is an adult, age 2+ years, and Cloudio is a bit younger at 1 1/2. They each weigh about 9 lbs. He is a New Zealand white who was abandoned along with his brother and sister in the woods near Key Center. Typically, New Zealand's are some of the most amiable, sweet-tempered rabbits there are. Often they are overlooked in favor of their tiny lop friends, but once you share your home with a New Zealand, you will be pleasantly surprised and may just have found your new best friend. These two are not chewers so they can be trusted to be valued members of the family.

I'm sure there is a perfect family just waiting to take them home, love them and keep them safe.

If you would like to meet these great buns, please contact us at adoptions@rabbithaven.org to make an appointment.

They are at our Gig Harbor location.

                       Clyde   (small size)

Clyde is a Netherland Dwarf about a year old but unlike others of his breed, he is quite friendly and likes to be held.  Clyde still has the Netherland attitude but that is what makes him so cute.  He is exceptionally good with his litter box and keeps a tide house.  His fur is like cotton and he comes up to greet you when you open his cage.  He would not do well in a home with small children.

He loves to run around and do bunny binkies, he is just a happy guy and loves to play.

If you would like to meet this wonderful little guy, please e-mail adoptions@rabbithaven.org to make an appointment.

Clyde is at our Carnation facility.
