Betty Blue is in the Pink!
Betty Blue has a new home!
Betty Blue has the best new home in the world...because she's got the best humans in the world. She even has a smaller human of her very own, as you can see:
"Yes, I think I DO approve of this small human. I think I'll keep her."
Here's the update:
Betty seems to be settling into her new home, and we are getting used to her. She's wonderful!
She actually is going into her carry-crate ON HER OWN, willingly!

This is in Katrina's room tonight, after we used a treat to coax her in this afternoon for some outdoor time, where she met a neighbor and her young daughter, both of whom were entranced by our Betty.
She also can easily jump onto Katrina's bed, which cracks me up:

We built a "play pen" out of the extra cage pieces, to help us keep track of where in the room she is, and she seems to understand it well, even though it is only one layer high. Clearly she COULD go over it, but so far hasn't.
"I do like this new house very much. But the decorator did everything WRONG."
She likes to re-decorate her cage if she gets bored, and she musses and then straightens out the towels.
She also likes to chew on a cardboard egg carton.
Loves carrot and likes broccoli, and likes the red lettuce I picked up last night (among assorted other greens)
