Beatrix, Tucker, & Tanner

...aka, the 'Rex Trio', have a brand new family!

Think you've got a handful? Well, imagine what it's like to have THREE fun bunnies busily invading your home! As far as Beatrix, Tucker, and Tanner's new family is concerned, there's nothing better. Here's an update from the soft hearts that welcomed these soft buns:

Hi Sue!!!

I apologize for not e-mailing sooner. This summer is flying by.
We will send some photos, but I just wanted to let you know that the
bunnies are doing great!

"Ohhh boy...I bet there's lots of trouble I could get into up there!"

We have them in an enclosure in our upstairs TV/Office room and in the
evenings when we are upstairs a lot, they get to run around the room
and jump up on the furniture.

Bunnies and their morning routine.

Ruby and Daisy like to lie on the floor so the bunnies jump over them
and climb on them. The girls have been really great with the bunnies.

"Hey, human, can you teach me to use this thing?"

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's...HYPERBUN!

Even Daisy our 3 yr old knows to move slowly and she is very gentle
with the bunnies and does not try to pick them up. I have been very
pleasantly surprised! "Hey! I was next! She's the best petter in the whole room! No cut-sies!'

"Ahhh...finally my turn."

And Ruby spends a lot of time in the pen with
the bunnies, sitting there and visiting with them and sweeping up
their poop balls and she is usually the one who always feeds them
their pellets in the morning, then we both do the fresh veggies and
hay for them in the evening.

Excellent petting skills, AND she sweeps poops. I think we'll keep her.

Tucker has turned out to be the most mischievious of the three, and
all of us have been nibbled by him (any tips on curtailing too much
nibbling?). He also has jumped up on our entertainment center (and
found a way behind it), the couch and tried to get on the computer
desk a few times. He's a such a sweetie though. Tanner seems to love
eating the most and Beatrix has been the most anxious, but Ruby has
noticed that she is letting her pet her more and more and getting more
relaxed.

"What do you see? Are there any more ways to get in trouble up there?"
During the hot weather we bought an air conditioner for upstairs for
the bunnies' comfort as well as our own, so they should have it pretty
good the rest of the summer. Before we got the air conditioner we were
giving them frozen bottles and marble pieces that had been refrigerated.
Anyway, we are loving the bunnies and thanks again!!
We'll send photos soon!

YAY for the Rex Trio! You missed out on them, but there are plenty more! Even groups of more than two buns, for more total fun!
