Spot got adopted! We're thrilled that we could help a bun find a new home without even coming through our facilities.
Here's our original posting on Spot:
NOTE: Spot is not a Rabbit Haven Bunny.
When we are full, we post information and photos for people who have bunnies that need new homes. Spot is one of those bunnies. We've included contact information for his current foster family, and you can also contact us if you'd like to be put in touch with them.
Because we don't know Spot personally, we don't have any information to give you beyond what's on this page. We don't know anything about his health or behavior, for example. The current family will be happy to talk to you about Spot.
Here's what the current owner tells us about Spot:
I have a rabbit that needs a good home as I cannot care for him. Spot is
about 5 or 6 and he's been an indoor rabbit all of his life, literally since
he was born. Friends of ours had rabbits and they had babies...spot is one
of the last remaining rabbits of any of them. I recently split with my ex
boyfriend (we had the rabbit at his house for his kids)...and while Spot
wasn't being cared for adequately for quite a while, my ex was going to
release him into the wild and I knew he would just be killed. So I took him
and he is staying at a friends house because I cannot keep him where I'm at,
and my friend can't keep him much longer. I don't know what to do...I have
flyers up at various vet clinics and am hoping you guys could take him in!
I would love to see him paired up with another rabbit...he is a sweetheart.
We think Kristen is a hero for making sure that Spot wasn't left to fend for himself!
We also think Spot is about as cute as a bunny can be. See for yourself:
