Volunteer!
Rabbit Haven is looking for volunteers. If you would enjoy being a part of our team and helping these wonderful animals, please sign up for one of our Volunteer Orientations.
You can volunteer to work hands-on with the bunnies:
Feeding - Monday, Tuesday, and Friday (afternoons)
Cleaning - Tuesday and Friday (10-2)
Grooming
Vet Runs
Warren - The Warren is our outdoor area for bunnies who have been rescued but are not socialized and thus do not tolerate human interaction. These bunnies are not adoptable and cannot be handled like house bunnies can. Instead, we give them a home in our warren. We maintain their habitat (houses, hideaways, places to dig and hang out, heating lamps for the winter months), feed them, and do medical check ups on all bunnies regularly. Warren volunteers are needed throughout the week and all-year round. It's outside work and can be dirty and heavy, but it is very satisfying to help these bunnies that no one else will take.
You can help in lots of other ways
Even if you don't have the time or ability to help with the bunnies directly, there are lots of ways you can make a huge difference in our ability to help these wonderful animals. We are always looking for volunteers to help with:
